Apoka Safari lodge is the only high-end lodge/accommodation facility found inside Kidepo valley national park strategically located overlooking the Narus River valley within the distant Kidepo wilderness, thus the ability to view wildlife right close to your comfort and enjoy the endless views of the savannah. The lodge was built with everything handmade by the local craftsmen with only wooden materials to avoid meddling with the natural appearance of the park.

The rooms at Apoka Safari lodge were constructed with comfort in mind and adorned with beautiful pieces of art and craft with inside luxurious sitting rooms and private verandas arrangements offering plenty of places to relax and unwind while reading and taking a glass of juice/wine or cup of tea/coffee, probably after an amazing safari game drive. Apoka lodge has about 10 spacious bedrooms having canvas walls incorporated with a rocky kapje with everlasting views of the savannah landscape.

The big hand-hewn beds are provided with soft duvets draped with mosquito nets, hand woollen carpets, extra-large towels and over-sized dressing gowns. You may be in a remote area far from the city however enjoying facilities as those in the city.

Apoka Safari lodge offers incredible facilities in all the rooms starting from an en-suite bathroom with double sinks and a huge tropical shower. Stepping outside a sheltered terrace is your own stone bathtub big enough to fit the whole family. The swimming pool at the lodge carved of the big rock which is cool and refreshing and it makes you want to jump in and feel alive again given the hot nature of the park in most of the months.

Apoka lodge also has an excellent restaurant that will provide all kinds of meals upon prior booking, the lodge is basically in a remote dry region and water and food supply is limited. The lodge bar is also fully equipped with different kinds of wines and beer for guests to explore when relaxing at the lodge. Come and drink in the view and feel the lion’s roar in your chest.
