Nga Moru Wilderness Camp
Nga Moru which also means “a place of rocks” is also a mid-range lodge in Kidepo valley national park positioned close outside the park boundary, also overlooking the Narus river valley that contains large groups of animals and other wildlife species. This is a great place to relax while viewing wildlife. Some of the animals that can be sighted just by relaxing at the lodge on the high rocky grounds of Nga Moru include the cape buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, ostriches, cheetahs, waterbucks and others. At the end of the day after a Safari, the lodge has a fireplace where you can camp and have a great time telling nice stories with other guests or sit back on the camp chair and stare into the night sky like never before as you listen to the grunting lions, yelping jackals and laughing hyenas near the camp.
Nga Moru wilderness camp has 5 comfortable and spacious rooms/caravans, all with en suite bathrooms and veranda overlooking Narus valley. The rooms have both warm and cold showers, power/lighting at the lodge is provided through solar panels. The restaurant and bar are excellent places too to explore.
