2024 Park Entrance Fees To Kidepo Valley National Park : Kidepo valley national park is an isolated but the most beautiful national park in Uganda located in north eastern region in Karamoja district between Uganda’s border with South Sudan and Kenya. Kidepo valley national park is a home of different wildlife species including lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, cheetah, bat eared fox, stripped hyenas, aardwolf, greater and lesser kudu, mountain reedbucks, Uganda kobs, Jackson’s hartebeest, klipspringer, Dik Dik, roan antelopes, zebras, giraffes, oribi and over 475 bird species such as kori bustard, ostrich, Egyptian vulture among others.
Park entrance fees to Kidepo valley national park is the amount of money that is charged by Uganda Wildlife Authority to all tourist in order to access the park and engage in different activities like game drives, bird watching, guided nature walks, hiking among others. Park entrance fees to Kidepo valley national park can either be paid at Uganda Wildlife Authority park headquarters in Kampala where you will be given a receipt that you will present at the park gate or entrance fees can be paid via Credit card/ MTN or Airtel mobile money at the park gate.
All visitors will be required to present valid identification documents to confirm resident status. A day’s park entrance fee to kidepo valley national park is valid for twenty-four hours from the time of entrance and extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be charged as an extra day. Children are persons aged between 5 to 15 years of age and person below 5 years are exempt. Park entrance fees to Kidepo valley national park are independent of package activities such as mountain climbing, bird watching etc.

Foreign non resident adults are charged 40 USD per person, 30 USD per person for foreign residents and 20,000 UGX per person for East African citizens.

Foreign non resident children are charged 20 USD per child, 10 USD per child for foreign residents and 5,000 UGX per child for East African citizens.
Uganda pupils and students are charged 3,000 UGX per person, tertiary institutions/university students are charged 5,000 UGX per person, Uganda wildlife club students are charged 2,000 UGX per person.
Annual park entrance passes
Annual park entrance pass applies to all protected areas for foreign residents in Uganda and East African citizens only. Foreign residents require a work permit that is valid for one year to qualify for an annual pass.
Individuals
Foreign residents are charged 350 USD per person and East African citizens are charged 350,000 UGX per person.
Couple
Foreign resident couple is charged 600 USD and 500,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Family of maximum 4 children
Foreign resident family is charged 800 USD and 600,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Annual corporate pass of 10 people
Foreign residents are charged 1,500 and 2,500,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Vehicle, aircraft entry and landing fees
Vehicle entry fees are charged per 24 hours except for concessionaire visitors vehicles who pay once per trip in the park. rescue vehicles to be charged the same rate as other vehicles according to the vehicle classification.
Saloon cars
Foreign resident saloon car is charged 40 USD per entry and 20,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Minibuses, Omni-buses
Foreign resident minibuses are charged 50 USD per entry and 30,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Pick-ups
Foreign resident pick-ups are charged 50 USD per entry and 30,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Tour company vehicles and 4-wheel drive
Foreign resident tour company vehicles are charged 150 USD per entry and 30,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Over landers
Foreign resident over landers are charged 150 USD per entry and 100,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Buses and lorries
Foreign resident buses and lorries are charged 200 USD per entry and 200,000 UGX for East African citizens.
School buses
East African citizen buses are charged 50,000 UGX per entry.
Aircraft landing fees per landing
Landing fees exclude entry fees payable by passengers and pilots en-route do not pay entry fees if they spend less than 2 hours in the park.
Glinders, microlights
Foreign resident glinders, microlights are charged 10 USD per landing and 20,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Up to 3 seater aircrafts
Foreign residents are charged 20 USD per landing and 40,000 UGX for East African citizens.
4 to 6 seater aircraft
Foreign residents are charged 30 USD per landing and 60,000 UGX for East African citizens.
7 to 14 seater aircraft
Foreign residents are charged 40 USD per landing and 80,000 UGX for East African citizens.
15-20 seater aircraft
Foreign residents are charged 50 USD per landing and 100,000 UGX for East African citizens.
21 seats and above aircraft
Foreign residents are charged 60 USD per landing and 120,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Helicopter
Foreign residents helicopters are charged 125 USD per landing and 250,000 UGX for East African citizens.

Bird watching/ nature walk
Bird watching and guided nature walk fees are per person and the rates exclude entrance fees and other activity fees.

Guides nature walk
Foreign non residents are charged 15 USD per person, 10 USD per person for foreign residents and 10,000 UGX per person for East African citizens.
