Namamukweny Valley
Namamukweny valley is a valley in kidepo national park in north eastern Uganda. The place derives it name from a Karamojong word to mean a place with no birds, though the meaning of the word is not true there several bird species you can see from this magnificent valley.
Some of the bird species found here are white crested turaco, Abyssinian roller, Green hood hoopoe, Eastern paradise whydah among others.
Namamukweny valley can be accessed on foot or by car when in Kidepo, apart from birds tourists can also have excellent views of the spectacular Kidepo and come across many wildlife, this section of the park is in the North West.
