What Is Kidepo National Park Famous For? Kidepo national park is located in the Northeastern region of Uganda in Kabong district and it borders with south Sudan. This national park was first gazetted as a game reserve in 1958 by the colonial government and later in 1962 after Uganda acquired its full independence, it was then established as a national park.
