3 Days Bwindi Gorilla Habituation Experience is an adventurous tour that starts and ends in Kampala Uganda. The tour will take you to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is known for harboring half of the endangered mountain gorillas in the whole world. During the tour you will engage in an interesting gorilla habituation experience where you will get a chance to spend 4 hours with the mountain gorillas under habituation process.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park, depending on your location on the first day of the 3 days gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel or Entebbe airport, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park which is located in southwestern Uganda. The journey takes about 8 to 9 hours drive and on the way you will have a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe to buy souvenirs, take photographs and then proceed with another stopover at Igongo cultural centre for lunch. After lunch you will continue the journey with spectacular views of the rolling hills, terraced farmlands, traditional homesteads, beautiful scenery among others. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi impenetrable national park
Gorilla habituation experience, after an early breakfast on the second day of the 3 days gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations of gorilla habituation. After the briefing you will join a group of researchers, trackers, park guides, gorilla doctors among others and start hiking in the jungle for your gorilla habituation experience which takes about 30 minutes to 8 hours depending on where the gorilla family is located. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species like chimpanzees, l’hoest monkeys, baboons, bird species, mammals, different plant and tree species among others. Once the gorilla family is located you will be able to spend four hours with the gorillas under habituation process where you will get an opportunity to watch them carry out their daily activities, monitor their behaviors, habits, engage in the naming process, take photos and record the breathtaking moments to show people back home. After the fascinating gorilla habituation experience, you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and return back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure to Kampala
After a relaxed breakfast on the last day of the 3 days gorilla habituation experience in Bwindi, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kampala with en-route lunch in Mbarara town. After lunch you will continue the journey to Kampala arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport for your departure flight or drop off at any place of your choice depending on your schedule.
