The 3 days Uganda gorilla tour from Kigali is an interesting gorilla tour that starts and ends in Kigali, Rwanda. The safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is located in southwestern Uganda. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is famously known for harboring the highest number of mountain gorillas, which are found in four sectors, namely the Rushaga sector in the south, the Ruhija sector in the East, the Nkuringo sector in the south and the Buhoma sector in the north. Day 1: Pick up from Kigali and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the first day of your gorilla adventure, you will be welcomed by our driver guide from your hotel in Kigali or Kigali international airport to start the safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. On the way, you will enjoy great views of the rolling hills, beautiful landscape, and scenery and a stopover for an en-route lunch. After lunch, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and upon arrival, you will connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking experience
After an early breakfast on the second day of this gorilla safari, you will carry your lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will be divided into groups of 8 people, where each group will be allocated a habituated gorilla family to trek. Gorilla trekking takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located and during trekking, you will be able to view other wildlife species.
Once the mountain gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habitat, which gives you an opportunity to watch them feeding, breastfeeding, playing, resting, and grooming young ones; learn more about their behaviors and characters; and take photos and record videos, among other things.
After an encounter with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the starting point, where you will be given a certificate for participating in the gorilla trekking experience and later meet up with your driver guide to return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Departure to Kigali
On the last day of the 3 days Uganda gorilla tour from Kigali, you will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kigali. You will have a stopover for an en-route lunch, then continue to Kigali, arriving in the early evening.
Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Kigali International Airport for your departure flight or at another location of your choice, depending on your schedule, which ends the 3 days Uganda gorilla tour from Kigali.
