Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
Depending on your location in Kampala, you will be welcomed by our company representative/guide who will then transfer to Bwindi national park. The park is located in the south western part of the country, it’s a 7 hours drive with en routes. Via Masaka road, you will have a stopover at the equator where you will be able to take photographs and visit the craft shop, proceed with lunch en route. On arrival to the park in Kisoro district, you will proceed and check in your lodge for relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at Bakiga lodge for budget/Buhoma Haven lodge for mid-range
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Safari.
Have breakfast and transfer you to park offices for briefing about the Gorilla trekking Safari by a local guide. The time taken is usually between 2-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Meeting the gorillas unexpectedly is one of the most captivating lifetime experiences. You will have a chance to observe and take pictures at very close range. You will observe adults feeding and groaning among themselves. After an hour with the long-awaited gorillas, your guide and rangers will lead you back to the starting point where your driver will readily be waiting to transfer you back to the lodge for a restful evening. Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park and Ishasha game drive
After having breakfast early morning, connect and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park-a home to thetree climbing lions. This is a 4 to 5 hours journey with stopover lunch via Ishasha sector. Arrive in the park in the early afternoon and have lunch in Ishasha where you will also enjoy a game drive in the area finding the tree climbing lions and other available animals.
Thereafter drive to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay at Parkview Safari lodge for mid-range/Pumba Safari Cottages for budget
Day 4: Game Drive and Boat cruise on Kazinga channel
Go for an early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park where you will spot a lot of wildlife including African elephants, Lions, buffalos, antelopes, impala, among others and a lot of birds and a good day the leopards. Return to the lodge for breakfast, relax a bit and enjoy your lunch.
Connect for a boat cruise along Kazinga channel where you will get an opportunity to see a number of bird species, elephants and buffaloes, hippos and crocodiles. The kazinga channel is known to have the highest concentration of hippos. Retreat from the boat trip in the evening and check in your lodge for relaxation. Day 5: Transfer to Kampala
Wake up and enjoy your breakfast. Meet your driver to drive back to Kampala. It’s a 6 hours drive from Queen Elizabeth national park to Kampala with en route lunch in Mbarara town and Equator. You will be dropped off at a location you will advise. End of 5 Days Safari
