Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kitgum, depending on your location on the first day of the 6 days Kidepo, Aruu falls and Murchison falls wildlife safari our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, brief you about the safari and then start the journey to Kidepo valley national park which is located in the north eastern part of Uganda. On the way you will have spectacular views of the countryside, beautiful scenery and en-route lunch in Gulu. After lunch you will continue the journey to Kitgum district where you will arrive in the evening and upon arrival you will check into the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo valley national park-afternoon game drive

After an early breakfast on the second day of the 6 days Kidepo, Aruu falls and Murchison falls wildlife safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the hotel to start the journey to Kidepo valley national park. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge and have lunch where after you will go for an afternoon game drive. During the game drive you will drive to Narus valley where you will be able to view high concentration of wildlife species including buffaloes, elephants, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, oribi that gather around the valley to drink water, predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas and different bird species. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer to Kitgum

Morning game drive, after an early breakfast on the third day of the 6 days Kidepo, Aruu falls and Murchison fall wildlife safari you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive where you will be rewarded with great views of animals including elands, bohor reedbuck, Jacksons hartebeest, waterbucks, giraffes, zebras, oribi, elephants, buffaloes, kudus, bushbucks, which will be grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like cheetahs, leopards, jackal, lions, hyenas looking for a morning hunt, view different bird species like Kori bustard, ostriches, yellow barbet, dark chanting goshawk among others. After the game ride you will return to the lodge for lunch where after you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kitgum for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Transfer to Aruu falls and Gulu district

After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 6 days Kidepo, Aruu falls and Murchison falls wildlife safari, you will carry your lunch box and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Aruu waterfalls which are situated in Pader district in northern Uganda. The journey from Kitgum takes about 4 kilometers and upon arrival you will take a tour to the falls where you will have breathtaking views of the waterfall, beautiful scenery and enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the rocks at the bottom of the falls as you enjoy the cool breeze from the waters. After the Aruu falls experience you will continue the journey to Gulu district where you will check in at the hotel for dinner and spend a night.

Day 5: Transfer to Murchison falls national park-boat cruise

After an early breakfast on the fifth day of the 6 days Kidepo, Aruu falls and Murchison falls wildlife safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer to Murchison falls national park which is the largest national park located in north western Uganda. Upon arrival in the park you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will drive to Paraa landing site for an amazing boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 hours you will be able to view hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view elephants, buffaloes, antelopes drinking water along the shores, water birds like cormorants, kingfishers, fish eagles, bee-eaters, hornbills among others. After the boat ride you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala

Morning game drive, after an early breakfast on the last day of the 6 days Kidepo, Aruu falls and Murchison falls wildlife safari you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a morning game drive where you will be able to spot animals like elephants, Uganda kobs, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, waterbucks, bushbucks, Jacksons hartebeest among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch where after you will check out, meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kampala where you will arrive in the evening. Upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your departure flight or drop off at any location of your choice.
