The park occupies a total area of 1,442km squared. The park lies between Uganda’s border with Sudan a Kenya just 700 km from Kampala. Apoka safari lodge is one of the best lodges in Uganda and it is located within Kidepo Valley National Park, which is found in the Northeastern region of the country. Apoka Rest Camp is a budget accommodation facility managed by the Uganda Wildlife Authority inside the park situated in the capital of Kidepo Valley National Park. This camp is ideal for budget travellers, it has 16 self-contained Banda’s with ensuite bathrooms and 14 non-self-contained Banda’s with shared bathrooms outside. The camp does not have a provision of meals and drinks, guests are advised to come with their own food and drinks for the time they will be staying. The camp staff arranges the cooking.
Zebra Safari Lodge-Kidepo

Adere Safari Lodge is a newly constructed luxury lodge situated at the foothill of kidepo Valley National Park just few kilometres from the main gate. The luxury lodge has 17 cottages with single and double rooms which are designed with traditional beautiful wood furniture and they contain en-suite bathrooms with big size bathroom, hot and cold running waters, flash toilets and offer facility services such as football pitch, swimming pool, a restaurant serving three course dishes, well stocked bar among others.
