Kidepo park entry fees

Kidepo Park Entry Fees is that money that is paid by any traveler that would wish to access the national park. This fee is collected by the Uganda Wildlife Authority and is meant to develop the national park and its surroundings, the communities to build schools, provide piped water and many other activities that develop the community.

Just like the other Uganda national parks, Kidepo valley national park has park entry fees categorised into 3 different fees. For visitors, adults to say, pay entry fees of 40 USD per person, foreign residents pay 30 USD per person and East African Citizens pay 6 USD per person. Children too are accepted to enter and the pay yet they also have their own park entrance fees. Foreign non-resident child pays 20 USD, foreign resident child pays 10 USD and an East African child will be 5,000 Uganda shillings.

Kidepo park entry fees are valid for only 24 hours and it allows visitors to explore the park on game drives alone, other activities are paid for separately. As you enter the park, your transportation means that vehicle is also charged separately depending on the weight size of your vehicle. So for the 4WD vehicles to enter the park is 10 USD for an East African vehicle and 50 USD for a foreign registered Safari vehicle.
